Stop Info

The Stop Info window is used to set the attributes of a Stop script item. This window is opened when a new Stop Item is created from Script:New Item:Stop. It is also opened when a Stop script item is selected and Script:Edit Item... is chosen.

A Stop script item causes all installations to stop. This can be useful for stopping installation based on certain criteria. For example, you could use a Find Item to search for an item on the user's disk. If this item is not found, you could display a message with a Message Item and stop all installations with a Stop Item.

The Stop Info window contains the following items:

Attributes
This tab area allows you to set various attributes for the current item. These attributes include the following: For further details on these attribute categories, see the Attributes section of this guide.
Change
This button closes the window, saving any changes. When an item is first created, this button is named Create.
Cancel
This button closes the window, canceling any changes.
Delete
This button deletes the current item from the script. When an item is first created, this button is not available.
